Monday
In the west entrance at North. It's really the main entrance which is at the back of the church now.
`````````````More church pictures for your enjoyment. If not, then for MY enjoyment.
Place in front of many windows.Today promised to be a busy day. So the peepers opened for some unknown reason at 5 AM. An early breakfast happened with some early morning catch up on the TV. The catch up wasn't very long. There was some time to knit. The birds were attended to which didn't really take any time. And I settled in to wait for the 7:30 AM visit to IU North for blood work. That will determine if there is enough blood recovery to start another three weeks of Kisqali, which I have determined is my miracle drug. I heard from Dr. Schneider that all was in a good place. Another angel carried me through. There are so many.
A great family portrait.Then it was back home till 10:30 and Living Strong at the Y. Being with folks carrying some of the same health issues can bring focus back into living. And yes, two of my North friends are in this group. One never walks alone. We spent all the morning talking which was much needed for this group. Our teacher Mary Anna who has been with this group for a long time died Thanksgiving day all unexpected So it was a morning of processing again. The group will continue having had two leaders taking turns with leading the group. I suggested we decorate stones with positive words and pictures, placing them outside the door of the Shwarz Cancer Center for other patients to take. Positive thinking was always a skill Mary Anna used.
I think some of the Sunday School kids might be doing this nativity. I love it in its simplicity.A stop on the way south lead me to church where more pictures were taken and a whole lot of counting happened leading to the number 220 nativities now for folks to view. I think that number is about 90% of the collection. Mava, the church secretary answered questions. Another good walk through happened.
Then at 1:15 I was on my way farther south to the Simon Cancer Center for my monthly visit with Dr. Schneider. There were questions from him and questions from me. All seems to be good with another Pet scan and visit promised for March. Before that will be more bloodwork and pills that go with the territory. Doug goes with me to the Simon Center for the big scan reports every six months. I call this event a little in between visit that I am happy to do by myself.
In a knitch in the sanctuary. It needs a bit of color. Blue ribbon will be added asap.
Arriving home near 4 told me the day was pretty well shot. The turkey and corn were warmed over and cranberry relish was added for supper. And snow is being added to the mix. They way maybe 2 inches, maybe 4 or maybe 5. I don't think they know. Yeah. Nothing is on the calendar for tomorrow, so I just intend to enjoy the day at home.
J ust in case you may have forgotten what one needs in Michigan for the winter season.The trip home brought me back to the green chair for some very good reasons. A paused ending to what made the day busy. It's Monday night in America. You know what that means. There will be knitting of course. I finished another scarf in a smidgen of available time this morning.
