Wednesday
Meet Steve.
What was today like. I would say there were two distinctive parts with the third one coming this evening. It started with the usual meal of yogurt, blueberries, walnuts with the paper all with a cup of coffee on the patio. Then of course I walked the garden, and a couple of hours was spent there doing all kinds of stuff. There was weeding, edging, transplanting plants I found, snipping here and there, raking and shovel work. By 11 I called it quits to my outdoor life.
More Kimmy PicturesThe house housed me until 2:15 when I was off to I U North for my monthly two shots for cancer. This time there was a third shot that comes every three months helping my bones to stay bony. The shot for bones takes a while because there must be bloodwork done that will determine that the bone shot is a go. So, I left the hospital at 4. My entertainment while there, pretzels and a protein drink along with my I phone face book. That always comes in handy when a long wait happens. Jill posted stole pictures and there was a whole lot of talk from friends along with former North pastors not serving in other churches. I was entertained.
Can you believe a Minardi that big. It takes sheep poop to do that. Right now mine are about a ft . tall. After a good refrigerator clean out of many things that often happens when going somewhere for a while, supper of hamburgers and chips with mint iced tea and a nice garden salad happened on the patio under the umbrella once again. Yes, the clean out happened because we'll be visiting Jared and family for a few days. And I'm leaving the computer home meaning I'll be back with you all perhaps Monday. This is going to be a good family visit. There may be a trip to Clair through Amish country and a great parade at Franken booth Mi. Sat. is Flag Day and Michigan folks have a whole lot of summer parades, it seems.
For the third portion of the day, I'm looking forward to once again to seeing the Pacers. They forgot to play their last game. My hope is that they are in attendance for tonight's game. OKC has a wonderful defense plan that's hard to get through.
One of Kimmy's flower gardens. We thought this could be a zero day for chipmunks but Doug just told me after supper the count reached one. They never disappoint. The bunny is around, still "hiding" not really in the middle of the purple yarrow patch. He's making his room just a bit bigger these days. Looks like a remodel is taking place.
Driftwood from Superior.
So tomorrow at some point, we'll be off to the north country, this time Midland Mi for a few day. Camping is a question mark at this point. We'll see.
All of these are last summer's Michigan pictures. Not many flowers are blooming at my house. The goal was to take pictures tonight but there were pot marigolds that were going to die if I didn't get them in the ground. They may still die but they have a chance at life. Then it got dark. NO picture taking tonight.
What is that green plant next to the Minardi (in a STAR WARS T shirt) that grew with sheep poop?
