Wednesday Do Day
Lots to remember. It was a Wed. sort of cleaning day. Blew off the patio, blew out the garage, Scrubbed the kitchen floor, vacuumed the carpet. Discovered I was tired this time for a good reason. That's always a good mental exercise to remember. Having a good reason is what I want. Remembered the haircut. Did a library drop-off and visited with friend Kathy returning her "bulbs' back to their home.
The church's All Saints celebration includes lighting a prayer candle. They are lit for only a short period of time near the end of the service. So...an attempt was made to snip off the burned part of the candle and remelt the ends which I hope will enable us to use them again when needed. Woo...that was a sitting and watching TV job which saw about 400 candles being refurbished for another year. I can check that job off for sure.
So it was a busy day of lots getting a whole lot accomplished.
Today's events include my quarterly visit to see Dr. Baker, my diabetic doctor. It should be a good visit with numbers being where they should be discovered through testing. Eating continues to have it's ups and downs. Fewer downs than ups are evident. The evening appetite is mostly gone, the noon is taking over.
Bo has arrived at the Michigan farm. Eli's big delivery was a huge surprise yesterday while he was at school. . Bo will be well-loved by the whole family. He is a huge horse in my estimation but not one of the really big honkers. Just huge.
W'll have to see what the protocols are for visits - but our Br. Emilio is the master of candles and may have some tricks to show you for next year. . . .
ReplyDeletePS - he tells me frequently that he is praying for you.
