Monday
Grr. The night ended at 2:30. I was ready to go back to sleep at 6:30 but Eric's trip to Nora took care of that. And sleep probably would not have happened anyway. It was mine to live with which brought a morning nap and an early afternoon one.
So beautiful in the garden. The day was interesting in many ways. The stack of Xmas decorations went back on the shelf till next Nov. The stack of pans used to make the Amnesty Candle went back on the shelf waiting for the next wax job. Charlotte got her gourd bird house for her Blue Birds. It got a good spray providing a longer life. As a result of Sunday's sermon, the refrigerator got a great clean out that involved emptying 9 containers of something. The refrigerator looks so much better. The first seed catalogue arrived.
Lantana. I call this a work horse in the garden. It requires very little attention and takes the heat like a southern trooper.Doug's shredder that cuts up stuff wore out . So off to the store for a new one.
The garden's horseradish was beginning to show up so some was dug and ground up in the blender with vinegar. Yum, yum. What do I eat it with? Everything. In salad dressing...potatoes, meat, sandwiches and more.. but I'll skip the ice cream.
Another pretty arrangement.I sewed 4 more little bags and scratched through more fabric for more possibilities. I did a little TV watching in the evening.
Supper was at McAlister's with the North Church gang. It was a good meeting with people sharing what their day was like. I shared Horseradish.
And the first jonquils along with pussy willows now are found on the kitchen table. A burst of spring.
TV in the evening.

Yes, when you look in a container and all you can say is that it is something, without knowing exactly what it is - then it is definietly time to throw it away! !
