Do you like the look?  Pure warm and toasty relaxation is what I call it. Good things happened today.  Doug got my anti biotics, the Kisqali came and I'm all set for more surprises.  But it's just fine if they choose to pass me up today. I'd love to share with anyone who would like a surprise.  It's sort of like Halloween candy.  I would like to keep on passing them out to whomever would like one of mine or more.   I slept well.  Got some protein down for breakfast on top of my bread.  I finished candle fixing on all the pillars and am ready to get started on the prayer candles.   We have new candles If we need these renewed candles used this past Sunday, we have an additional supply for whatever comes. I ripped some fabric and sewed five new burps, and spot cleaned a little kitchen floor.  I said just a little. It's that moderation thing that keeps slapping me in the face.   The top and bottom burp are from the latest stash we f

Heidi's fall window at church. This post is coming a little later than usual.  I planned to write it early evening but something else got in the way.  Talk about surprises.  Another one came my way.  Forget about planning is my mantra. So the morning started a little crazy with wanting to do something.  So I melted candles.  After our church pillar candles burn, they look like this.   Then the wicks and flames are no longer very evident.  If I turn the candle upside down in a double boiler sort of set up and melt the tops down they are useable again when needed at church.  I did 12 this morning and took them to church.  It seems I was up early again!                        I used the left over wax to seal sone of my gourd bowls to make them water proof.  And once again another All Saints Celebration happened.  The music was wonderful.  The preaching right on and visiting with friends and new folks was just a really

We need some flowers to start the blog. There was a little problem getting to sleep last night.  I'm not to surprised anymore because that problem has been with me for a while.  My doctor papers say it's part of my life for a while.  I believe my body received a jolt with the two latest Fulvestrant shots.  What I think will always be just around the corner are surprises when medication and body come together. It shouldn't get boring. Now if "Kisqali brain is not overpowering me, that would be helpful.  Trying to keep pounds from flying away is another one of my jobs to work on. There probably be more things to work on in the days ahead.                                                                             More about this later.  On to something better.  This morning was a cool easy go for quite a while.  I ate a bigger breakfast happy to find something that I could down easier.  That's a ringer.  I

Friday

Beautiful Dogwood tree leaves with the sun shining from the west.  My Celtic cross always near.  Not very much happened today.  So the day was a good one for me.  The early morning stuff happened.  I did some cutting out and a little sewing.  I watched some TV.  There were no trips out in the car.  It was just a simple Friday that one should have now and then.   Surprise, surprise.  I forgot to pull these out a couple of weeks ago. They are the famous Binary Zinnias. I tried to eat a little more.  I don't know if I passed but I ate some new things.  There was a protein drink mid-morning.  I need a few more 25- or 30-gram protein drinks.                                           I'll be so sorry when the frost comes for these beautiful blossoms. In the afternoon I worked more on getting yesterday's purchases ready for ripping.  I finished a few burps and have another five to finish whenever that comes along.             By the way...orange in the garden is a must
