Holy Thursday
The day started early again. At 8 I was off to 146th and Hazeldell Rd. to talk with Roe about stuff. We reviewed everything and the task is to continue everything. We will meet again in May. A few other decisions should be made by then and she wants to see how she can be helpful at that point.
I stopped at the HUGE KROGERS at that same street intersection and could not find coffee filters. What is wrong with putting coffee filters where the coffee is. Kroger's doesn't get it. That store is bigger than the Meijers. Uck and double Uck. I stopped at Needlers and there they were with the coffee. I grabbed two boxes equaling 200 filters. That should do for a while.
Back home on the "farm" it was a bit chili so the coat kept me warm in the garden until I worked up a sweat. I got the ball on the Hunter's Point rocks with not too much trouble. Lifting heavy things is out now. The ball is very heavy, but I managed with the cart making life a little easier.
A super nice addition to the garden.
I moved on to working on the Noah pond. That took a while and the solar pump still works. Super. I took out some dead stuff and planted some alive stuff. It's a work in progress. I need some flowers.
Relaying some rocks needs to happen before I'm happy.
I moved on to other places as the spirit lead. Milk weed is up in one spot but not in other places. The Yellow Indigo plant I bought last fall is showing growth. The Blue Indigo plant is going nuts, but it's been around a while. Checking on plants is so much fun this time of year.
The birds were busy and I hung a few peanuts again. Mom B Bird is busy nesting most of the time. I saw them chase off the Starlings big time. It was fun to watch BB team work.
Another NEAT Blue Birds nest. Pine needles. Blue Birds eggs. I just stuck the camera in the side of the box and took a picture. We had a camping supper (Pancakes) and since today is Holy Thursday we were off to church early evening.
I'm happy to report that the second surgery on Kat's foot went well today. Now good healing must continue at a good rate. So I call today a wonderful day of working in the garden. I should say it was just a wonderful day. There are a few aches and pains but it's spring. It happens.
