Friday

End of the week almost.  Then there is Saturday.  The morning started slowly with breakfast, the paper gathered from the driveway and a garden walk and then a visit from Rita with some delicious beef pot roast.  And I gifted with a huge tomato, sweet peppers and a beef roll for dinner for the Schillings.  We had a great visit with a lot of talk and another garden walk.

By 8:30 she was on her way home and I had time to read the paper with my coffee.

It's time for the cup plant blossoms to have a place in the garden.

The morning was pretty simple.  I thought it resembled the personal business day escape.  And that kind of day hung around till evening. Tomorrow is a Soup Kitchen Day.  Not a Personal BD for sure.

The afternoon shower added a beautiful touch to the rocks in the hens and chicks garden.

I happened to check my phone calendar seeing that a blood draw was scheduled for today.  Humm.  REALLY?  Yes, really and I found that to be true by taking that short drive to IU North with folks there saying, yes...you are scheduled for a blood draw. So that happened.  The results being that almost all the test results remain a bit wacky that happens with cancer and medication.  If I'm in trouble, I'll get a call. I would suspect the word will be "carry on".

                                                              Such a bright statement.

There was a lot of time for afternoon sleeping and I took it.  Supper happened and the evening once again was pretty quiet.

Pictures arrived once again reminding us of the fun we had and still continues at Great Sand Bay on Lake Superior.  Kimmy sent a recording of Loons heard at this spot.

Lake Superior, so quiet on this day. Jared and Jacob playing sand engineers.                                                                 Eli and Adam in the water cooler. Kimmy taking pictures.

A fun family day at the beach.  A dad with his boys while mom records the events of the day.                                                                      This never gets old.
