Wednesday.

Garbage day and I missed the Chuck, the truck guy again. The rumble of the truck wasn't loud enough.  But before that happened, there was a lot of other stuff going on.  Today, Eric needed a ride to the bustop.  Kat had early morning things to do where she works.  So, the alarm was set and since I'm the early bird at this house, I flew over to pick up Eric.  After his delivery I made my way to I U North Hospital to the Schwarz Cancer Center to reschedule some blood work because of the Gorgia changes. I'm back to the day suggested by the doctor.  I had another great visit with the two receptionists who have become dear, dear friends over the 5 years they have taken care of me.

Then back home to Doug just emerging from a night of sleep.  For me, half the day was over.  Not quite but close.  I knitted for quite a while.  Knowing that there would be family company in a week, I decided to start pitching stuff out, rearranging stuff like dust and running the sweeper here and there. I'm staying ahead of the curve!  It's such a great feeling to be able to get ready for some extra good fun next week in a rather clean house. My mind is in a great place anticipating the JB Eric family. Georgia will be missed but the long hours in the car will not be missed.  It's becoming a honker of a trip.  I'm getting to be a sissy. No, a reality queen!

So, the cleaning continued for most of the day until I said, enough!  I made a trip to Kroger's for distilled water for the CPap Machine.  And some chicken came home with me making supper easier to put together.  Then knitting returned again with a little TV, sitting in a very clean room.  Well, all except the windows.

The evening is planned to be a Pacer night.  There are so many injuries, and the number of winning games is nothing to write home about.  I may go on to other TV things with once again the needles clicking away.

Tomorrow, there will be some Y time with Living Strong cancer friends.  I'm gathering information about guest visits at the Y, thinking about the grandsons that will be visiting, including the Eric family on Friday and Saturday. There will be many card games.
