Wednesday.

Once again, stumped in a good way.  When nights of good sleep come along, do I care about the not so good nights?  Not one bit although I still report those.  You can ignore those sentences.  And yes...7 was the eye-opening time.  So, it was up and ready for the day.  Now if I had a lot of responsibilities, I might think differently.

You guessed correctly, a new scarf was on the needles.  I would say it's a quieting sort of way to start the day, find it in the middle of the day and when day ends with needles, it's still a good thing.  My soph. college roommate taught me the basics of knitting.  My response to her, when old I'll have something to do while rocking in the chair.  Well, the old has come true, and I have something to do but the rocking chair in my room is empty.  The green chair holds my body well.   One thing I never anticipated was the feeling of satisfaction that comes when helping Goodwill mothers and babies.  They receive a lot of prayers as the needles work,

There was a break time when the little engine that could finished another 10 burps with their last sewing together event. I think I mentioned these yesterday.  A new ten got their first sewing, trimming and turning.

Today I sorted out 20 bow tie scarves moving them to Ginni Sunday for mothers of new babies.

More to knit and miles to go after I sleep.

Ginni will also receive another 100 burps.  Moving days are good.  The next 100 are waiting when Sunday's burps need replenishing.

Something new is happening at church tomorrow.

The first community group making reservations to see the nativities will make their visit.  Heidi and I will be sharing information and answering questions while hosting the group.  I'll be able to write more after this tomorrow night.  It's a new adventure not tried before but something interesting to share.  People often want to experience this historic church but unable to when otherwise open to the public.  We're giving folks another chance to visit and to experience the nativities.

I love those GOLD shoes Patience Brewster nativity set.

There was more knitting during the day. Being completely out of burp fabric meant the sewing machine had time to be quiet.

Doug visited the barber shop in the afternoon, and I took the chance to visit a nearby Goodwill.  You guessed correctly.  I found a flannel sheet, the same design as purchase 9 months ago.  So, I'm back in business you might say even though the baby program should have a good supply.  I buy when I see flannel.

A crazy design is my assessment.  Others think not so crazy.

There was another stop for pills for both of us.  No price reduction when two were buying medicine.

Supper happened and Eric needed a ride from Broadripple home tonight.

                                                        Another turkey veg. soup night.
and the Pacers played.  Their number of wins so far this year are a bit dismal.  Sometimes it's just hard to get tripping when the team has so many injuries.  They need to build bodies that can carry them through all the tough stuff.  I'm sure its easier said than done.

So, another good day of living. There sure have been a lot of them.  Feeling blessed is a big part of my life with so many friends, a body and mind that keeps me busy and the ability to contribute. All of that makes for healthy living.
