Friday
Now how is that for a wheelbarrow full of zinnia's that will provide seeds for next spring.
I would say today was not such a crazy day. A few things happened and the word I liked was few.
I finished the 30 burps. It took me 90 minutes to circle all the burp with another run through the middle of each one. DONE...yes I cooked them. I thought of tearing more fabric, but I just never got past the thinking part. That can happen in my life. There will be more days to work on that.
I did some knitting and just before supper I finished another scarf. There are 7 in the basket. This time Ginny didn't get all of them. I saved some so the started got a good push! That gives me a false sense of doing more when I haven't done more. It's a brain trick. You might try it.
There was no cooking today. I just warmed up supper loving the fact the there are few dishes to do. There's another meal in the fridge for next week. I don't cook on the weekend or even warm up anything. That's a very long old habit from teaching days. I will have another premium protein along with other good stuff. Doug does what he likes.
I ubered Eric at noon today. He moved to the north side office for the afternoon. Then I was off to the Y again with Schubert and McDonald in my ear. There was a mile on the treadmill and another 14 minutes on the NuStep. Woo. That was a workout. The goal is to stay STRONG for the miles ahead. Who knows where they will take me!
So what's left to do? Figure out how the evening is going to go. Purdue played a good second half a couple of days ago. The Pacers are in the tank. It's time to get going boys. I need to see if IU basketball is happening. And then it's all on board for the Monday evening football game. Fingers Crossed big time.
The flower tells me we're moving toward fall. It's aster time. The dry summer hurt them.Remember that Poodle picture. Kimmy decided to pass go and found a family of Poodle Puppies not far from them ready to be adopted Feb. 2nd. It's the plan to move one four-legged black puppy in on the 2nd or soon after. I'd like to make a trip north when winter is on its way to somewhere else to meet the little guy. Now it's time to think name.
There was one. Much better than none. So, the day was a little easy but busy enough. Some days are like that, even at this house. Thanks be to God.
