Thursday

Pretty cup plant flower.  Tree frogs can live in the leaves near the stem where water sits in the cup.                                                                 A native Indiana plant.

As it usually happens Thursday follows Wednesday.  That's pretty dependable.  And the morning started of as it usually does with all the things that makes it a morning before Doug.  And there was a lot to smash into the morning.  I ironed the 30 burps, now ready for the last sewing machine go around. That should happen tomorrow.  Other stuff got in the way.  I decided to make some soup for supper using some lentils bought at the Michigan Amish Grocery.  The recipe made a lot of soup.  I added garlic, onions, carrots, celery and potatoes.  The washing machine got the last two flannel sheets and later the dry finished that job. All the bird feeders got a touch up.  Then the Starlings came and I grabbed the beloved peanuts.  Thay can take care of peanuts like magic. That bag of bird food is empty.  Yesterday I counted seven blue birds here at the same time on the feeder or trying to get on.  They seem to sit and wait till the meal worm lady appears.  There just were things to work on and I worked.

I saved some seeds again with the hope of seeing these straw flowers again the summer of 2026.

I received the expected phone call about medicine and discovered the new amount to pay per month was a lot more than I expected.  That was not good news.

So, it was time to think medicine money financial help.  Where do I start?  So, I just started with the drugstore.  The pickup car line was long.  The inside line even longer so I just left the store to come back later for answers to my questions.

The medicine is a Lilly product, so I called my friend Rosie who is a long-ago, long-time employee. Sometimes companies help with financing. That might be a possibility. This could be the time to bit the bullet and go on insulin.  I sent a list of questions to the doctor via the portal.  At any rate I'm thinking possibilities.  \

Memories. I hope to see off springs from these providers in a few months.

And with the mind in overdrive I decided it was Y time.  So, the treadmill with Schubert and McDonald playing in my head, the medicine thoughts just went away for a while. I love it when that plan all comes together to give me other things to think about.

Then it was back to the line at the drugstore still long but not as long as the morning line, there was some clarification but no good answers.  They will be coming soon from somewhere, I hope.   There was a little knitting.  I should say very little knitting but some.  Supper was a soup container for R and B delivered on the way to the Y.

There was soup for supper.  I decided it was sort of bland, so I added some season salt. I have old taste buds. Radiation didn't help any. I sent Doug off to uber Eric on to home after work.  I did blog time.

I'm looking forward to another quiet evening.  Maybe a little knitting after all if I don't fall asleep.  There are no guarantees. Tomorrow, there is nothing on the calendar.  That happened for most of the week.  It was the unlisted things that occupied big time.
