Tuesday
Another recovery day. Woo. I must be dealing with an old body. Maybe just older sounds a little better. There was a good long night of sleep, but it just didn't feel like enough. The day was starting so I got started as well. There was a little of this and that and then around 10 I was off north for a couple of miles.
One of my favorite banners made by Patty now stashed away till next Nov. It's the journey with the manger, a little covered up in this picture. The first stop was at Goodwill. No luck there but it was good to have a short visit anyway. The PT center was close by and once again there were a few papers to fill out and then I met Michael Mae. He had Daren in training soon to be a 7 year PT graduate. All PT's have a doctor's degree. In a sense it reminded me of the student teachers that I shadowed for a much shorter period to time to be sure.
So there were questions and then a series of things to do that were given a number grade added up as a pass or not pass. A few were easy but more were not. The added number result told us that it was proven I needed to use a cane putting me in the easy to fall group. The cane was new, the fall group I figured out having fallen three times in Nov. I flunked the Neurologist's test in December who referred me on to Michael who uncovered the truth again today. There is homework and I'll be back at school next Tuesday. This has happened before and it's happened again.
So, back home reporting the results. This thing I live in is still pretty spent from Monday's work and I think things will be better soon, real soon.
Another left over Christmas picture. This scene has been repeated every year since Jacob was little with stocking opening.
The afternoon saw a little time at the Y on the treadmill and Nu Step. Then I made a Kroger visit for some distilled water. Home again to the chair with knitting in my hands but sleep becoming what really happened. Not many stitches get completed with the head in la, la land.
A few more have been added since I took this picture.Supper was the Beans/Potatoes and Ham dish again. I've got to do a change for tomorrow's evening meal. It's getting a bit predictable. Easy does it no matter what with an evening of not much happening.
