Wednesday

I was going to do zinnias yesterday but got distracted when I saw that azalea flower.  A whole plant full of those beautiful flowers were sent to me from my nephew Mark when I had my first surgery.

For today, there were no biggies or smallies.  Just a winter day with cold and wind and the usual. I finished another scarf in the afternoon.  And I might start another tonight. But then again maybe not.  I did no special cooking. The chicken soup I made Monday is maybe the best ever.  And there will be a couple of meals to go yet.

I spent some time at the Y again today.  Something makes me think I spent too much time at the Y.  It was the same old tread and Nu.  The same as other days with one exception.  It was a little less time on the tread and a whole lot more on the Nu.  Maybe too much time.  I was washed out with sugar numbers lower than appropriate.  So, there was a good protein drink as soon as I walked in the door with more Greek Yogurt and strawberries added to the blender mix.  Then a good sitting time with a sleep added.  That brought on the recovery needed. I've got to remember that.

Kimmy sent me this picture seem out her window a few years ago.  I had a lg. print made.  It's a beautiful country morning with animals in the far-left corner.

The birds entertained again and it would seem the Starlings are not trying as hard to bust into the peanuts.  Could they be changing their habits.  Probably not.

I stopped at Goodwill looking for an interesting sheet to add to some white flannel sheets for burps.  The Nora site struck out.  I did spend some morning time preparing more than 20 burps for the sewing machine.  It's been a while since I've turned on the machine so I would say it's time again.

This morning, I texted Jared to learn again that he is an early riser having accomplished a lot before I would say 8:30 like treadmill time and packing mugs for mailing.  I would imagine he was off to work then but after both he and Kimmy unpacked the kiln located in the barn, Kimmy was busy in the kitchen taking pictures of each pottery piece in preparation for posting pictures on Etsy for sale.  Each little piece goes through many, many steps before arriving at its new home.

I would suspect the 4 am cloister run could be a competitive experience.  Who is winning? Don't forget your socks uncle, brother, father brother-in-law Dee/Cassian.
