Thursday

So, another day almost is over.  That happened faster than I was expecting.  I slept well and the morning happened.  I spent some time at the sewing machine finishing what I left undone last night.  And then it was ripping time with new fabric. I ripped a whole lot of burp possibilities putting together what needed to be folded and put together.  This is the last of the snowflake fabric.

I did a walk in the garden finding a few things trying to grow in big water puddles.  That happens every year and by evening most of the water had soaked down never to be seen again.  The Lenten Roses looked more awake with flowers open or thinking seriously about opening.  Other things were farther along after taking a long drink the past few days.I looked around so long that the Y time got away from me.

I got my act together, arriving not too late.  Once again, this new work out rotation is more of a killer using neglected muscles that needed to be woke up.  There are five groups that are crucial to living and they were ALL activated this morning. I was so tired after the work out I skipped Martial Arts.  That's a new one for sure.  I thought I might return mid-afternoon for the Treadmill, That idea got put on the shelf, not retrieved till perhaps tomorrow.

Birds at the window have been pretty sparce lately.  They may have found a better restaurant.

Part of my afternoon workout was preparing cabbage rolls. The recipe gave the ingredients but not the amount.  So, it was my guess that made 12 rolls with 10 destined for the freezer.  We had two for supper.  I am declaring my taste buds to be asleep.  The rolls were fine, but I'm going to add some spices for the next go around.  I felt like every utensil in the kitchen was used for the process.  Something different and fun but only a cook could create with no other afternoon responsibilities.  Labor intensive I would say.

Best ever meal for a diabetic.  Not a carb in sight.

I worked on a new 10 group of burps with only the last machine sewing to call them completed.  That will happen tomorrow.

t's time for the chair, maybe some knitting or maybe not.  I think I need a change in thyroid meds as the doctor suggested.  Yikes.  They seem to be right most of the time.  Sometimes I think to much.

Papers arrived for the newest member of the family.  Finally, we have a Bently Russell.  I'm sure the name Arnie will be heard more than Bently.  It always will be Bently to me!
