Tuesday
Another day with crummy weather. So the rest of the pictures are not from today but yesteryear.
As you know, the Y has become again a place I visit often for many good reasons. I've met some very interesting people. One is Chris, my Martial Arts Teacher. He is a dear gentil soul for many reasons. I learn more reasons every time I see him. His wife Evelyn is also a similar gem. He loads himself up with Jo sticks and wooden swords for us to use in class.
I'm hoping for a lot of these in the garden this summer. We've been trying better ways to tote all this stuff to the Y using Velcro strips. It's just was not working. This morning I pulled out some fabric used to cover chairs. It's was leftovers from the chair job. The sewing machine went to work and I made a good attempt which proved to be the right attempt at a bag big enough and strong enough for all the Jo Sticks. It was a successful do. There's a bag sword project coming next.
The strengthening workout was great although the class was a bit smaller because of the crummy weather. Doug needed a drop off at IU North so that happened in between the strengthening and M.Arts class. Then when I was finished it was back to tote Doug home again. There was little time to eat so supper will be good for sure no matter what it is.
A great memory from Michigan's UP.Basketball will fill out the day once again. NCAA is starting tonight.
I would say the weather remains crummy. I've added the fifth season. It comes between the two Springs and is called Spinter. No, I haven't been drinking stuff. Nothing but water so far today. So that's about it for today. Tomorrow is a day on the calendar with nothing. Thursday is way to busy even when leaving Living Strong out of the mix and then there's another off day Friday. It's feast or famine. Retirement years haven't changed much of anything in my life.
