Wednesday

A picture taken yesterday.  Shivering Crocus.

Another middle of the week day.  There have been a bunch since I was born years ago.  And the hope is that there will be more to add to today's total.  I figured it out a long time ago and forgot.  The forgot part is a good thing when it comes to how many Wednesdays.

Today's picture. The yellow color reminds me of free range chicken egg yokes.

Morning came as usual with some fog for the beginning and with all the other usual stuff.  There is a whole lot of to do things to get this body ready for the day.  I didn't forget anything today. The paper was delivered and a first for the week of not landing in the ditch.  I'm happy for little things.

I decided that the 20 burp cloths waiting to be finished were moving to the front of the line.  I had marked sewing line with disappearing pencil marks and Yes, that did work.  So, the first thing was to remark everything.  That repeat work is a sign of a lazy sewer.  I'll not let that happen again. The last 20 are in the process of being finished and adding another 10 will bring this group to the 100 number again.  I think I'm moving to the summer months of taking time away from the sewing machine very soon.

Eighty ready to go.  Another 10 will be added tonight. And as you can see 10 more equals 100.          Ginny has gotten all them in groups of 100. Yes. I buy from Goodwill and donate back to Goodwill.

There was lunch and then I moved on to the Y.  Wednesday gives me time to do what I want to at the Y.  My choice always includes the Treadmill for a mile at a pretty quick pace and today Mozart played in my ear.  His music is so fast and peppy.  Sometimes too fast for walking and I'm no runner for sure.  The Nu Step was next, and I finished the workout with 10 minutes on the rowing machine.  I love pretending to cross Superior to Isle Royal and back to Copper Harbor.  I never get wet. That is if sweating doesn't count.

I stopped at Goodwill looking for a bowl we can use at Soup Kitchen to heat food in the microwave when needed.  I found one that will work.  I have a flannel sheet full of many puppies waiting to be made into more burps for Goodwill babies.  I found two new brown cotton twin sheets that would work for the flannel backing. And they are updating the store!!! Then on to Aldi's for a few necessary things.  I read an easy recipe for cabbage rolls a couple of days ago. There are days I don't like my cooking. This sounded tasty.  We'll have them tomorrow night.  The word was they were easy to freeze.  Sounds like my kind of food.

Home again having Doug's help to put away groceries.  That really is a good ending to grocery shopping although there were only two bags this time.  A protein drink was fixed. and it was time to sit a spell!  I took a little time to take a few pictures and then it was suppertime with chicken veg. pie from the freezer.

I think both IU and Purdue are playing tonight.  Not each other but IU early and Purdue late.  I wonder how long I will last.  Tournament time is near. So, it was another good day.  I appreciate how they are adding up.  I feel blessed in so many ways.
