Wednesday
Days fly past faster and faster as the weeks go by. I think the world has been spinning faster. Has anyone checked? It's Mid-week again. Did I write mid-week just two days ago or was it a week ago? Maybe not. Maybe I should put my brain on speed dial.
These plants are members of the heliborne family. They know how to bloom in the snow. This morning's goal was to create another bag with that beautiful fabric for the swords. And I did. About 20 years ago from somewhere and someone the fabric was a left over that made it's way to me. In those days I accepted any fabric people wanted to get rid of. I would eventually find a place it was needed. A few pieces took a long time to meet a need and this morning that all came together. The fabric is strong and will last a long time. That's just what Chris needs. So, another tough bag created and finished. Chris will be happy the swords will all stay together when traveling with him from class to class.
Happy to help someone else.I watched some hearings from Washington this morning. The conversations are so discouraging to hear with answers to questions few and far between. Evasion is always the theme of the morning. There was a lot of station flipping and sewing machine running to retain a sane mind. Naps came in handy.
The afternoon saw a return to the Y with time on the treadmill and good Brahams music flowing, pushing the mind clutter away. The NuStep came next with Rutter playing in my ear. I forgot to stop and when I did it was easy to say...NO MORE! A short Aldi's trip happened on the way home to another blue berry protein drink. Then there was a walk in the garden which looked like was crying this morning. And by this afternoon you would think there had never been a +2 cold spell. Things look pretty much as they should. Remarkable I would say on the recovery.
These same two pictures you saw yesterday when the flowers were kissed with snow. The birds had a seed renewal. They are showing up again after the past few days living in a freezer environment. The suet is disappearing at a record rate giving quick energy to the feather friends. It reminds me of my protein drinks that do the same for me. After the Y, they are a must
I enjoyed an hour break time after all the afternoon stuff and supper was easy with a lettuce salad with some good chicken added. More protein. More basketball tonight.
