Saturday

Clean water for the birds and a house ready for the wrens.  One of the seven dwarfs on guard.                           Pretty blue bells for those who like B Bells. The Piliated Wood Pecker is seen often.

As you all have figured out...Saturday ends the week and this end is the one I've been looking forward to.  Lots of unplanned things happened this week, so I'm done with this week.  Now on to fewer surprises, please. Just be ordinary.

I can't get enough of purple and yellow.

It was a very short night again with an early rise and then off to church for the first of two Saturdays preparing lunch for the community folks or just anyone who walks through the door needing a meal.  I spent about 20 minutes working by myself and then Sarah Ellen arrived.  It was a busy morning with a lot to do with a lot of workers.  Five rather new to us.  We made the deadline and when it seemed that all was near ready, I took the car toward home and left the rest of the morning to other folks to complete.  I think that will be the new procedure perhaps moving on to other things.  At least that worked today.

Another spring with Jack!  I see the beginnings of more Jacks or could they be Jills.

I stopped at Aldi's for a few things on the way home and then it was home for the day.  I filled some big pots with flowers and herbs.  They will be in a sheltered place for a while although the weather promises to be warm although with a bit of rain.  All good in the long run.

A pot of new Rose Mary near the herb harden. Last year's Rose Mary is showing growth signs.

I fell a sleep on the patio with the sun keeping me nice and cozy.  There are times when the cancer meds side effects cause muscle joint pain and that's been the problem today.  Walking can be a bit difficult so if there is no need to walk I don't.  Wanting to garden making good improvements need to wait. Tomorrow, I will finish another three weeks of medicine with next weeks no meds recuperating from another period of tough pills keeping me on the right track.

Nothing big is planned for the weekend.  I'm looking forward to empty for sure.
