Sunday

So far it's  great day and the expectations are that will continue.

We were off to church at 10 as usual giving us time to visit and do anything that needed to be done.  Church to day was a youth Sunday and the kids did a fantastic job.  Especially of course Grandson Noah.  He did the welcome to North speaking to the congregation as well as to those worshiping at home.  And another part that was given to him was the benediction.

Well done Noah.  Folks came to me after church expressing the same sentiment.

Today it's perennial geranium time.  There are three in the garden.  This is a church swap gift.

Our former associate minister being from India coming to the US for seminary and then his family joining him has been given orders he is no longer welcome in this country.  So sad, so sad.  He now has his own church on the east side of town and should be ordained a week after his now scheduled departure from the states.  One of his daughters has been accepted into medical school.  We signed papers supporting him that will be sent to our two Indiana representatives. Green cards were received and then two weeks later were withdrawn.  Pray that minds are changed allowing he and his family to remain in ministry in Indiana.

Pretty and pink.  Another perennial geranium.  The garden has two big plants.

I did a short quick trip to the library returning some books and getting a few more.  More things to look at that itch the mind a bit.  Kat ordered some seeds for me from Amazon.  Some a bit more specific than one can find in the store. It was a crazy try that turned out to be successful.

The third perennial geranium.  I would say the work horse of the garden of which there are many.

The afternoon saw the Detroit Pistons win.  A good long nap was noted and the 6 O'clock hour saw another family zoom happening.  Eric arrived early to do some computer adjusting so that folks could see and not just hear the elder Russell's.  The zoom visit was a total success.

No garden work happened although there was a walk around to get a few pictures.  Tomorrow promises to be a little warmer and there are a few things that could happen.  Right now I think they will.
