Thursday

The garden walk happened this morning after a big bug spray job over and under my clothes and more.  I decided the big now overgrown wild violets in one spot needed to be pulled. Violets produce thousands of seeds after blooming and that is something I don't need. The garden cart was pulled out of the garage and on the way to the violets I found more stuff that needed to be removed.  After all that happened I went on to the violet spot.  Out they came easily with ground still soaked with water.

We'll start with a pretty pink begonia.  I'd love to have more but I'll let someone else buy!

Then it was on to the area around one of our big huge pine trees.  At one time ivy grew up to the top of that tree.  Not any more with effort to eliminate anything close to the base of the tree.  Today that happened which is quit a job.  I ended up with a cart load for the big blue.  There was a lot of digging and pulling and clipping to make the job a success.  It took a shower to recover my body and then it was on to lunch.

This big guy got a nice cleaning job completed around his feet. It should do for a while.                              It was looking pretty messy for quite a while.  Not any more. One more tree to go.

Rita and I had requests pertaining to our afternoon visit with Ramona. Rita took a blue tooth for music playing and I made my way to Meijers shopping for a oil diffuser and some oil.  We are on our way to visit Ramona at 3.  She had a spinal procedure this morning. She was very quiet during the visit. Perhaps a bit tired out by the morning procedure.  The visit was made delivering the asked for items.  We got to visit with Ramona's twin daughters and one grandson.  It was a pleasure beyond measure to learn more about her family.

Cosmos growing taller in their protective from rabbits environment.  Outside the garage this morning was a tiny little bunny but not too small to hop away fast.  Not far away was the mother.

Back home on the ranch and right on to a Uber trip once again from Broad ripple to Carmel.  It's a great chance to visit with Eric.  He straightened out my iPhone.  It was doing crazy things with pictures.

The little pond keeps on bubbling away staying pretty clean with it's screen cover not seen here.                                              I'm waiting for the plants to get larger soon...I hope.

Then home for supper, dishes and finishing the blog with the rest of today adding pictures.  Another good day.  NO! GREAT day.
