Ready for Monday

 I'm wide awake, shower over, breakfast over, crossword puzzle over, MSNBC Way to Early over, Blogs read and over...It looks like I'm really over the beginning part of the day and Ready FOR the rest of Monday.  I'm expecting no new news today but I really don't have a promise of that not happening.  So I'll stay in the moment focused on recognizing gifts that will arrive.  Some gifts include watching birds at the feeder while I'm in the kitchen...And perhaps a squirrel in the bird food basket. Gift???   I'm looking forward to what ice might come making everything sparkle when the sun comes out this afternoon. Retired folks have that option.  I need to make a phone call to Dr. Miller's office canceling Tues. appointment because I met with him last Tues.  And I'm going to spend some time thinking about some of my church responsibilities writing information for others to use while I'm out of the loop so to speak.  I'm giving that my best smartly aimed shot  leading to the loop days.  It's one of those "so that" I remember from the Sunday sermon.  So that others can carry on.  

So for a closing thought.  No amount of anxiety changes the future.  Ann Voskamp.  God be near.

Wed. I'm back Thanks be to God!

This time I hope I'm back for a very long time.  The computer with pictures is finally a go and all the excitement of Sunday is over.   I don't know if I've recovered yet.  There are a few more days before the next Sunday.   For those few who don't know it was another hospital stay of a couple of days.  And it all started in the pew at church with a pass out  seizure type of thing. I think something to do with high sugar perhaps.  The whole service came to a halt for a while.  How embarrassing with a carry out by the good old EMTS.   Lots of tests I guess.  I don't remember a thing until Sunday evening with a trip into a scan machine.  I got released Tuesday and today I visited my primary care doctor for answers and I'm pretty well satisfied.  Two days in bed have really made me wobbly so I'm pretty careful about moving around.  It should get better soon.  I won't be driving for a while because of the seizure.  That's a huge bummer.  The seizure medi

 A day that's been a little slow.  I guess that's OK now and then.   The morning included a yucky bird feeder clean out.  I got tired of looking at it and it was almost empty so there was my chance.  The blue bird was seen often and the pair of red bellied wood peckers enjoyed the suet.  I saw on facebook a guard that is easy to put together to keep sparrows out of the blue bird house.  It's worth a try made with wire and fishing filaments and fishing weights.  I need a wire cutter first.                                                                    For a while both Mr. and Mrs. were visiting.  Then it was to the sewing machine.  The day produced three bags.  I need to get the collection on their way to Michigan.  I made a couple for the Carmel grandsons.  The pace was slowed with a finger cut with the rotary cutter.  What a bleeder I produced.  I will say this is the first slash I gave myself in more than ? years of sewing.  I think it's time for a fresh dressing

Kimmy did it again.  She guided me to the spot where now there is a change made in the blog settings  allowing comments.  If you had a google account you could do that already.  At least  that's what I think I'm reading.  So comment away when you want to.  Will be fun.                             I'm looking forward to a whole bunch of different zinnias this summer.   Finger report.  It's doing fine with a major clean up today. One reason for no butterfly but a small club is to pad the site.  Typing is improving.  The day brought more sewing with four more bags completed and one waiting for velcro which should arrive tomorrow via Amazon.  Another package of D rings should be included to finish up a few cover ups.  It's been a busy sewing season with some new challenges that keep the sewing room interesting.  I must dig through my fabric for more options.   Lots of meal worms are disappearing again.  Most of the time it's because the pair of Blue Birds are having
