Close to a nothing day.

 The morning started the same.  Card game waiting for the Jared/Kimmy tent to be emptied.  Then pancakes and then NOTHING.  Yes, it was a nothing day but maybe not.  I settled down with a book.  Started it...Nap...Read more...Nap and that continued all day.  I can't remember when I slept so much during the day.  Maybe never.  But there was a walk to Pebble Beach and here is the proof.  

There really are two pictures sticking together.  

Adam and Jacob took a trip to town on their bikes to check out what was happening so Kimmy, Jared
, and Eli took the Kayaks out for a spin on Lake Fanny Hoe. Big smile for Eli.  

Kimmy is on the left, Eli in the middle and Jared on the right.  It's a new experience this year and one that they all are enjoying.  So that was the nothing day.  There probably will be more.  It's time for the evening fire.  Jared is a bit miffed...just a bit that I'm still connected to the internet once a day.  So give him a big shout out when he does his yearly vacation postings for the family.  Seems his mother is a bit independent.  I would agree.

    When I was talking to Kimmy today, I was telling her how happy I was that you were doing your blog! Way to go! Keep the wonderful posts coming. I love reading them and I am so happy you learned how to post pictures....just in time too!!! I am happy you are getting needed rest, but having lots of fun too.

This time I hope I'm back for a very long time.  The computer with pictures is finally a go and all the excitement of Sunday is over.   I don't know if I've recovered yet.  There are a few more days before the next Sunday.   For those few who don't know it was another hospital stay of a couple of days.  And it all started in the pew at church with a pass out  seizure type of thing. I think something to do with high sugar perhaps.  The whole service came to a halt for a while.  How embarrassing with a carry out by the good old EMTS.   Lots of tests I guess.  I don't remember a thing until Sunday evening with a trip into a scan machine.  I got released Tuesday and today I visited my primary care doctor for answers and I'm pretty well satisfied.  Two days in bed have really made me wobbly so I'm pretty careful about moving around.  It should get better soon.  I won't be driving for a while because of the seizure.  That's a huge bummer.  The seizure medi

 A day that's been a little slow.  I guess that's OK now and then.   The morning included a yucky bird feeder clean out.  I got tired of looking at it and it was almost empty so there was my chance.  The blue bird was seen often and the pair of red bellied wood peckers enjoyed the suet.  I saw on facebook a guard that is easy to put together to keep sparrows out of the blue bird house.  It's worth a try made with wire and fishing filaments and fishing weights.  I need a wire cutter first.                                                                    For a while both Mr. and Mrs. were visiting.  Then it was to the sewing machine.  The day produced three bags.  I need to get the collection on their way to Michigan.  I made a couple for the Carmel grandsons.  The pace was slowed with a finger cut with the rotary cutter.  What a bleeder I produced.  I will say this is the first slash I gave myself in more than ? years of sewing.  I think it's time for a fresh dressing

Kimmy did it again.  She guided me to the spot where now there is a change made in the blog settings  allowing comments.  If you had a google account you could do that already.  At least  that's what I think I'm reading.  So comment away when you want to.  Will be fun.                             I'm looking forward to a whole bunch of different zinnias this summer.   Finger report.  It's doing fine with a major clean up today. One reason for no butterfly but a small club is to pad the site.  Typing is improving.  The day brought more sewing with four more bags completed and one waiting for velcro which should arrive tomorrow via Amazon.  Another package of D rings should be included to finish up a few cover ups.  It's been a busy sewing season with some new challenges that keep the sewing room interesting.  I must dig through my fabric for more options.   Lots of meal worms are disappearing again.  Most of the time it's because the pair of Blue Birds are having
