Slight change

So far blogging in the evening seems to be easier than morning.  So here goes for today.  We had such a great visit with Leslie and Dennis this morning.  We got up before they did and made our breakfast and then ready to visit again when they appeared.  Leslie made two breakfasts for them with tomatoes from the Farmer's Market at our church.  We were on the road to Copper Harbor around 9:30.

The north route to Copper Harbor takes us along the shore of Lake Superior.  We always use that way coming to and going from C H.  It has gotten to be an expected tradition from the van driver.  We stopped at the monastery bakery run by the monks and a few hired people.  Father Basil greeted us with lots of conversation and a huge smile.   Such a delightful person we have come to love through the years.  Of course, cookies and a huge muffin found it's way to Copper Harbor in the van.  More of that to be bought.

Then on to the campground with a huge hello from our Michigan family who set to work setting up the campsite.  Their tent is the same as ours so there were not many questions on setting up.  And the 4 helpers were at their best.  The 5th helper was babysitting the dog so he was a helper as well.

Uncle Dee mentioned Pebble Beach. It's a great sort of horseshoe harbor place with lots of rocks and where the grandsons love to swim.  Well, anywhere there is water they love to swim.  The big event of the day wasn't at Pebble Beach but Hunter's Point where Kimmy found a huge rock worth keeping named agate.  Here is a picture of Jacob's hand with the rock. To find one this big is really something to make note of.

More pictures will be coming.  I'm sure the next one will be breakfast pictures with the pancake menu being headlined.  The wifi is a bit slow here but I will carry on.   And when time allows I'll be writing.
