Sunday.
Another good morning at church. This afternoon football and the Colts are winning. Not too much other than that planned for the day. Yesterday I spent some time refining the menu for Georgia and getting the shopping lists ready for our attack on the Conyers, Ga. Publix Wednesday afternoon. The lists are ready Rick and Dee. An important thing to remember is getting Turkey out of our freezer to make the trip south. There was a hint of a shortage of turkeys so I made sure we had one. There are a few other things on the dining room table to take along. I'm assuming apples will be on the Michigan list of things to bring. Next week will be another wonderful family time together with my brothers-in-law and the Jared family. We will be treated to that good old-fashioned southern hospitality.
Tomorrow is another one of those Doctor days. Maybe this will be the last for a while. Maybe not. My hope...the last for at least this month. Things take the time they take.
The stitching project was buttoned up this morning. I'll share pictures when the gift has been given on Feb.14th. It's not a birthday gift Jared and Rick...but a gift to a good friend. She may be watching this blog.
This morning saw the first snow of the season. That's always a bit of excitement. It's strange how late that first snow has come this year and stranger yet how many leaves are still on the trees. It's wet snow and mostly gone this afternoon. It's winter coat season.
This morning I went out to the car to go to the dentist = and there was ice all over the windshield! ! ! it is the first morning that has happened. I think winter is really here. (The temp was 32 degrees).
