The day is Sunday

Yes...It's Sunday again.  Happens every seven days I have noticed.  And to alleviate the suspense, the Colts beat the Patriots.  Woo...I lasted until the third quarter and then chose to discover the truth this morning.  My nerves were beginning to frazil.  Woo...a great win for sure.  The son of a good church friend who lives in Boston is visiting here for the holidays.  Collin is a HUGE bar none, obnoxiously patriotic, (in my opinion) Patriot fan.  He and his mother posted a selfie on Facebook sitting in the arena.  Humm...poor thing.  Not a good Christmas gift for Collin but a huge boxcar of a gift for Colt supporters.  I always like to keep track of Collin, a very animated, outspoken, enthusiastic guy that is worth following.  I predict that at some point his impact on the political world will be great.

Yesterday's decision to work at church was a good one.  There were things to do that leaves no need to invade today's Sunday church time.  I'm really satisfied with how the Chapel will support this evening service visually to its fullest. One change...the five huge obnoxiously overpowering more than bright red poinsettias have been removed from our small chapel that is wrapped in blue, that color representing love.  The five poinsettias have found another resting place in the church.  They were left for us after a memorial service.    My word filter is gone when writing about their intrusion into the chapel's smaller space.  There is a better balance now...Big poinsettia...Big places to be seen.  Thank you Diane for agreeing to remove them to a better resting place.

The day will see practice with PT assignments promoting balance.  I am also determined to continue staying the course with the good dental practice that has been outlined for my mouth.  The effect of head radiation could continue to allow for complete decay of teeth if not supported with a good dental practice. As related by the dentist, those practices are not a guarantee.  Time will be the determining factor.  So it's 2 minutes of brushing with prescription fluoride paste after every meal and flossing at least once a day.  That's the best that can be done. I do have an appointment for the application of a crown already.  The time for a second crown to be determined. It's radiation damage.

Life continues to bring interesting surprises added to my day.

Yes...Surprise us Oh, God by your power and your love.  Another one of those songs sung with words prayed by our long-ago minister Dick Hamilton.

This is the day that the Lord has made, as a child, heard being sung by my mother on many a Sunday morning as she was making breakfast for us before we left for church.

The day is Sunday.
