Don't mess

Don't mess with Mother Nature.  She must have listened to yesterday's rant!  Between 10 and 1 we got a great snow cover.  All the winter brown is now covered with beautiful white.  It's a fairyland.  The only question is, where are the birds?  Thawed the birdbath water, threw out the seed for the ground-eating birds, and removed the snow cover from the mealworms.  The birds must have found a warmer spot for protection than I provided for them.  The Downy's did show up for tasty suet.

News flash.  After posting this the breakfast bell must have rung at 8 am and this was the scene.

They are back.  In fact, the whole tribe of birds is back feasting and drinking.  It's a party again even if it is 1 degree of warmth this morning.  It's a very integrated flock of birds.   There is always a starling or two that really take over the mealworm feeder but for now, are easily scared away with the bluebirds back on the feeder in a matter of seconds after the starling departure. .  All five bluebirds made their attendance known this morning.  It's a gold star award morning for attendance.

The stress test included nuclear medicine. .  Woo.  So good to report the explanations were great before the procedure eliminating some big surprises.  I've had stress tests in the past and everyone I've had has been different.  I think that shows improvement in the procedure with more information becoming available with each test.  This seemed to be a biggie.  In this case no news is better news. I received no panic phone call about the test.  I'll learn more next Friday.

One more closet sorted with stuff eliminated once again.  One more closet to go.

The Meijers store is between the hospital and home and my faulty memory yesterday remembered N 95 free masks.  We now have some.  They are very uncomfortable and with new elastic, they still are tight but more comfortable.  Our black choir masks will fit over the mask.  Better, better and better.

Nothing on the schedule today so it could be a closet day  Maybe not.  If this is an easy decision day I'll be in the closet.  Hard to clean if the brain is not into the job.  Some days are like that even in Australia as Alexander would attest to.

Stay safe.  I'll add, wear a mask!

I might anticipate another drop-off day for Goodwill.  The stash is growing. It needs to be a decision day for that to work.
