Refreshing Day.

That was yesterday. So with rake in hand I was Out and about with more raking and clipping and cleaning, this time the ground cover in front of the housegot some attention. It got a great smashing with all the house siding job guys that brought a major fixing, I hope. I picked up so many nails that found a hiding place in the ground cover. It was like finding Easter Eggs. The mess raked up is a great start for next weeks garbage. My two blue cans are full for todays offering. I failed to mention that last week while cleaning the garden my eye caught some movement with my thought a bird was crawling around. No bird...My first chipmunk now is in the woods about 3 miles down the road visiting with other Russell catches added to the park last summer. Happy to say that today should be warm enough to get closer to the finish line for the first attempts at cleaning gardening sites in the yard. I'm sure early March will bring April and May work as well. Doug brought me a wonderful gardening catalogue that came in the mail yesterday. Pictures are really tempting eye candy. I hate the delivery fee. 12.00 goes with the first order for this catalogue. It only gets worse as orders increase. I'll be looking at Lowes today to see what they have. A phone call yesterday said that the gutting and down spouts will be added to the house Friday. Brr...it is supposed to snow. It was ceiling falling after rain when the open roof was not protected by the roofers, Ice and snow when the siding went on, and now snow for the gutters and down spouts. It's been crazy. This outdoor house work has brought bad weather every time it's been scheduled. EVERY TIME! We need spouting extenders so it's a short shopping trip today to Lowes today. Got to be ready for the next phase of work. Then I think we're finished. Hail should not be a problem anymore Breakfast, crossword, blog, a little news...All finished. I'm ready for the day.
