Sponge
It would appear that the sponge can hold no more water. Our two nights of rain have left a whole lot of new water front property north of Indianapolis. I would imagine south, east and west as well. Thinking of a saying that we heard every fall growing up with my dad. Winter can't ocme until the creeks are full. Well, they certainly are full now and I'll just apply that saying to spring now although a whole lot of winter can come in March during turnament time. I did a garden slog this morning and the garden is still here in a well soaked form. I'm wondering what the parsley seeds are thinking.
It would appear that most of the day will be spent indoors. I could clean, and then I could not. The food supply seems a bit low. I could go to the grocery and then I could not. Doug still has poptarts, I have eggs. There is soup in the freezer There is no reason to go hungry.
I am reminded that the world needs a whole lot of prayer. TV immages continue to haunt and I continue to watch, walking as I can along side the vistums of war, my brothers and sisters, praying and waiting for better news ending this maddness.
Today also remember Dephne Chen a fellow choir member. Her surgery for brest caner found during her first mammagram during a scheduled physical is happening this morning. She is beginning a new journey of surprises that come to all from time to time.
God has promised strength for the day
Rest for the labor, light for the way.
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing sympathy, undying love.
