Two Entries.

Two seems to be the number for today. I'm doing another entry because what i posted two hrs ago is really yesterdays entry. It's been a crazy mixed up day. So for today...Noah was with us for the day. It seems that the big kid has passed the bug on to his younger brother. So it was a quiet day for Noah mostly spent in the TV room. Soar throats and stuffy noses need to be addressed. He usually is outside with me all day long but not today. I was out and he was happy to be in. I started my attack on Charley again. It seems like the winter doesn't hurt him a bit. I discovered that the Bluebells are up. The little peek through part that is up is blue not green. BLUE! During their time underground after they bloom the roots move around and they come up in different places. So it's lots of fun to discover where they have moved during their underground time. They completely melt away after their blooming time. The weather has been fantastic. I've done more raking to see what's under all the leaves and then I cover things up again thinking that cold is not over. Tomorrow it should rain. I'm sure the plants will be very, very happy. The birds continue to entertain. I've cleaned out sparrow nests from the bluebird boxes more than once. Poor things...I'm leaving the boxes open now until bluebird nesting time. They could start early to next this year. Alyssa stopped by to pick up the hail damaged screens. That's the last thing to be fixed. I continue to pick up nails in the flowerbeds. LOTS of nails. The poor guys were working when it was really cold. Hard to keep nails where they should be when fingers don't work correctly. It's always a surprise to find more. Tonight's choir practice was canceled. It seems that a whole lot of people would be missing practice so it was just canceled. Humm...IU plays ball tonight. I get to watch the game and the fact that my body once again is connected to a brain that just keeps working when it shouldn't means that my body is really tired. Outside in the sun with a rake or hoe or shovel is just the best moving weeds and twigs and leaves and discovering what has changed since I last checked yesterday!!! It's been a good day.
