The Lion is very upset.

Yup...we're back to March and the Lion is roaring.  We woke up to snow that led to wind and the wind chill number was labeled bitter.  This bench in the garden is not a cozy place to rest so we'll think of somewhere else to do that.  I think the Lion should go back to a warmer climate perhaps found in Africa!  We'll do just fine without the big pussy cat!

So the chore of the day was to turn the Easter Ham Bone into a delicious split pea with carrots and onion soup.  Got to keep it going until the hot weather gets here.

This morning after a call from the dentist I made a visit at her request.  It was a how is your tooth doing with a conversation about what had happened.  The report is that we are on the right side of healing, not quite at the end of the journey but well on the way.  This little tooth nerve just needs a good rest.  After the Zionsville visit, I headed to church to retrieve the palm plants.  I'll be working toward keeping them alive for another year.  There is no guarantee that comes with this project.
Sunday's memories are still fresh and so satisfying.  The children sang for the second service   We have missed them and dear Denise wrote another song for them to the tune of the now popular Halleluja.  I'm gifting you with the words.

It's been a while since we've been here, we couldn't sing in church two years, but in our hearts, we still sang hallelujah!
Now, we can say we're back again, it's Easter and we say Amen, for God heard our silent Hallelujahs!  Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.

And as usual, they ended their gift-giving with
the song, Up from the Grave, He Arose.

Once again we are enjoying visits from the birds.  The yellow-bellied Warbler is coloring up well for the summer months.  Such a tiny little bird with the ability to hold his own.  As you can see, it's obvious this picture was taken before the snow!

So the Lion is still roaring with the hope that the Lamb will come out of hiding.  Hey...animals, it's April!
