Oh, what a beautiful...

morning, Oh, what a beautiful day.  I have a wonderful feeling, Everything going my way.   The first day of fall and the temperature and humidity discribe fall for sure.  I did the usual morning trip and with clippers in hand, the whole morning and part of the afternoon were spent outside.  What a gift to open the season of autumn.

Four different plants, Lambs Ears, Black Eyed Susans, Autumn Joy,                                          and an unknown kind of grass, a gift from Rosie Jordan years and years ago.                                                           Rocks from Lake Superior line this flowerbed.

And for some reason I can't understand, my tub of energy carried me through to the end.  Maybe it's the outdoors on the first day of fall, being what it is the keep ongoing gift of energy just kept on going.  Today I filled three big blues and the garden is enjoying a neater airier look.  Susans are about 90% gone and what is left is still showing lots of yellow so they got a stay of execution.

Another great picture of Lantana.  It seems to get better and better as frost approaches.

TV Spectrum company is such a stumper.  I rescheduled the day to bury the cable since we were told we could be gone and then the word was that we were supposed to be here.   Today I was told by the technician that the cable that needs to be buried we must pay for.  The story changes each time.  So no buried cable will happen today.  The fact that it goes through a tree is the problem leading to water in the lines, so they say.  The tree isn't ours so we're a little stuck.  So far all is working and fingers are crossed it will continue.

I would hope that every garden would have these Mexican Sunflowers.                                                      The Monarch can be found around this flower every day.                                                                 The orange is glorious.  Some years the seeds are hard to find.

The technician did work on the problems with my TV's inability to get only some stations and turned off whenever it felt like it.  So...That's the everything going my way part of the song.

This succulent is in the Autumn Joy family but is really bright pink in color.                                                   This is Kimmys which is doing much better than mine.                                                       In fact, she has a whole lot of flowers we planted that are better than mine.

I finally came in the house at 3 pm only to pop out again not long after. What a great day for many reasons.  The big blues smell so good.  One is full of basil with a touch of mint.  The sun heats up the blue making things even better.

Another great Michigan chicken picture filled with many things.

Tonight's supper was tocos with homegrown tomatoes.  Yum, yum.  Oh, what a beautiful day.                      It wasn't over until after another great choir practice singing with so many good friends.
