Friday all day.

The night was a bit longer with a wake-up around 6:30.  That happens about twice a year.  An oatmeal breakfast started the day.  Eggs have no taste. I hear that happens to old people.  Maybe I have arrived.  But then again maybe not.

                                                                    A Friday surprise.

The walk through the garden reminded me to pick up all the piles of stuff that were created yesterday, A donation was made to big blue.  That didn't take very long.

The last Susans to exit the stage.

I googled early voting places and we got that bit of business done for the fall voting season.  A beautiful day for that with people out and about doing the same.

A single apply dumpling for lunch.  Yum.  I added a dip of vanilla ice cream.
One gone, one to go.  It's Doug's dumpling.

We had a two o'clock appointment at the Honda shop.  Our lease was up on the Odessy this summer but the lack of cars pushed our exchange date to the end of November.  Interest rates are going up but completing forms today will keep us at the old rate, whatever that is.  There is no promise that we'll have the new car for our Georgia trip.  Our current vehicle will do the trip. It continues to do a fine job.

The late crop of lettuce is at its best now.  My hope is the deer will pass through someone else's garden.
