Saturday.

You know what a five-inch square of fabric looks like so today's pictures are a little of this and that. 


Here is Eli's cat Basel being a bad kitty, named after Father Basel at the Jam Pot.  This kitty has a beard just like Father Basel. Well, sort of like.  He too small to get on the table by himself!  Eli is a huge cat (animal) lover unlike his dad but just like his mother.  Jared has said no cats in the house.  Well, how is that working?

Today was one of those feel-good stay-at-home days.  Keep it simple.  So I stayed at home keeping it simple.  All the usual home stuff.  Feed the birds, do the crossword and wordle.  Crossword was good but Wordle was not so good. There was a little cutting and sewing. It's another gray day with no snow in sight. Winter in Indiana?  Strange.  Body report.  All is pretty much back to normal or moving in the right direction.  Woo.  Makes me happy.  I thought about making cookies.  That's as far as it went...thought! 


This picture is labeled BOLD.  I would agree.  Something to work toward.  

I read a few gardening books.  Looked at pretty garden pictures and tried to remember a few things for this year's coming garden.  I'll need to work on the daylilies.  They need reviving by division.  There are just to many in one place spuing lots of green leaves and few flowers each year.  At one time I had lots of daylilies but I've lost some interest in them.  It's very noticeable when the deer stop by for a flower snack.

I finished parts of putting together two more quilt tops so now there are five in various stages of moving toward completion.  Can you guess who gets a visit soon?  Yup...JoAnn will get another visit but not on Sunday.  That is one crazy store to be avoided on the weekends unless you want to visit with all the other sewers, their carts full of bolts of fabric at the cutting table.  


Another football afternoon and evening with Jacksonville .and Kansas City.  Giants and the Eagles.  Both games got a little lopsided.  I watched Doctor Pol for entertainment. 

I wrote this entry on Saturday and posted pictures and published it on Sunday morning.  There will be SNOW pictures for Sunday.  It's happening as I write at 6:08 AM. It's still too dark to take any pictures.

Kimmy did it again.  She guided me to the spot where now there is a change made in the blog settings  allowing comments.  If you had a google account you could do that already.  At least  that's what I think I'm reading.  So comment away when you want to.  Will be fun.                             I'm looking forward to a whole bunch of different zinnias this summer.   Finger report.  It's doing fine with a major clean up today. Wed. I'm back Thanks be to God!

This time I hope I'm back for a very long time.  The computer with pictures is finally a go and all the excitement of Sunday is over.   I don't know if I've recovered yet.  There are a few more days before the next Sunday.   For those few who don't know it was another hospital stay of a couple of days.  And it all started in the pew at church with a pass out  seizure type of thing. I think something to do with high sugar perhaps.  The whole service came to a halt for a while.  How embarrassing with a carry out by the good old EMTS.   Lots of tests I guess.  I don't remember a thing until Sunday evening with a trip into a scan machine.  I got released Tuesday and today I visited my primary care doctor for answers and I'm pretty well satisfied.  Two days in bed have really made me wobbly so I'm pretty careful about moving around.  It should get better soon.  I won't be driving for a while because of the seizure.  That's a huge bummer.  The seizure medi

Saturday.

 Today was the every other Saturday for Soup Kitchen work at church.  But before that I was up at 6 with breakfast and a little sewing time.  By 8 I was on my way to church to be at the door when Tosha would be arriving.  Sarah Ellen is in Italy for the week.  One person short makes a whole lot of difference when the soup kitchen crew is at it's usually small size.  Jack arrived earlier than usual so that was a big help and the new Cindy crew of two more folks made work time even easier.  Sometimes I feel like it's a guess who is coming to work now added to the guess who is coming to lunch.  The crowd wasn't as large as usual.  We just never know.  I say it's a crap shot not to be figured out!                                                I hope to have a lot of these orange cosmos this summer.   The morning work flew along.  I talked with Heidi about my ideas for Easter decorations.  The Easter banners are back at church and a few more decisions have been made.  Easte
