Sunday.

Today couldn't get any quieter.  It could be called an old folks Sunday or something close.  Wordle happened in three.  Woo...I was good.

These are hollyhocks in the medium on 86th Street in Nora.  I stopped the car to snap the picture out the window.  Lucky for me the background is a huge truck that was passing on the other side of the road.  Makes a wonderful backdrop for the flowers.  I'm beginning to think I'm a hollyhock freak.  I remember sitting on the back steps around 5 years old maybe, making lady dolls out of hollyhock blooms. They had such pretty Hollyhock dresses.

Doug was feeling under the weather during the night so today it was church on the computer.  \It was a good sermon on idols that we make.  One is the gun with the impossibility of making any even slight degree of regulations. There were more examples.

A lovely hardy sturdy Becky Daisy.  One of the best in my book.                                                  There are a few drifts of these in the garden.  One can never have too many Beckys.

Doug, feeling a bit better allowed me to go to church to attend the fourth meeting after church to hear a discussion on Queering Wesley.  The presenter read Wesley's sermons and then played with discovering a new message in his sermons.  It was a very good session to get the mind thinking outside the box.  The presenter is speaking to a number of ministers tomorrow morning at the church.

This is an old picture.                                                                                     Mr. or Mrs...Monarch Caterpillar now in the cage is not interested in doing much eating.                       Perhaps some vitamins would help.  Come on...lets get moving. I never get tired of looking at these chrysalis.  From hearing from others across the country on Face Book, it seems that my garden does not have a vast variety of butterflies.  There is one type of butterfly that creates a pink chrysalis.  That would be interesting to see.

One of my favorite Pride banners sewn a few years ago.  The Y of Joy just escapes the fabric.                                                     That's the joy, joy should bring.

The rest of the afternoon once again was sleeping in the chair time, watching a little TV, and walking in the garden.  Boring?  Not really.  I'm not quite up to par but beginning to see the light. Slow and easy like the turtle. I'm no rabbit although I saw two in the garden this afternoon.

And always feeling and seeing great joy when sending these little miracles on their way.

Another picture for Dee, Brother or Father Cassion.     Pick one.                                                                               Well, this guy is from the class of maybe 87!  Not sure.
