Saturday
Today was sort of a work day. Connect was a complete flop with both Andrew and Kat making it a 100 % thing for them. Wordle was better and the crossword was an OK.
Hail, hail, the gangs all here. That is except for Kimmy and Lela! We were excluded. This was a turkey roasting morning. It's all baked, packed, and once again in the freezer ready for the trip south. That even includes the gravy which is a favorite for me but most of the gang will leave it be. If I made dressing the rest feel just about the same. So I'll let that be.
Here is a picture of the invisible roasted turkey ready for carving.
I did some work on cranberry relish improvement. That would be adding a little cranberry sauce to applesauce in the blender. Then there was the addition of orange slices The nuts will come when we get to Georgia. Maybe some great southern Pecans. That will help get the sauce to something just about where I want it.
Another invisible picture of delicious cranberry sauce.
Today's weather was perfect once again. I thought about the Monon walk but decided to let it be. Another day will work. PT on the floor continued in the late morning with another session in the afternoon.
Looking forward to this. There were seven or eight flowers on this little clump of miniature iris.I had no trouble staying awake today. Woo, yesterday was a waste and I slept through the night. No doughnut hole. Go figure that one out if you can. It's beyond my pay scale.
One unloaded invisible kiln load of glazed pottery More to go. I would love to have a peek!
