Sunday

Church Day.  But the night was a very very short one and did I feel like doing anything.  NO! Tired, cranky and more for sure.  I had to go having promised to do a bit of visual work after the second service.  Time to put Easter back in the closet or at least some of it.  So off to church we went.

Perennial Geraniums are starting to bloom.

Todays service was planned by the youth and the youth minister.  Those services are always great and one not to miss at almost any cost.  Andrew and Noah both had a big part as well as many other kids.   Church attendance is always great as it was today. Next Sunday, Mother's Day will find us back in Fellowship Hall between services with the grade school musical written again by Denise.  Covid wiped it out for a while but it's back again with us.

                                            Another Perennial Geranium blooming.

We got the visual work completed and talked through some other things with some folks who are important to the work.  Then as usual we were some of the last to leave the church.

One can never have too many Perennial Geraniums.

The afternoon work was checking out what needed watering and fertilizing and a little seed planting happened where there was space.  Nasturtiums, two kinds of cosmos and some bachelor buttons found a place to grow.  There is still room for a few more zinnias that are in the jugs at this point.  Four O'clock  seeds have a spot reserved for them.  And then the butterfly garden is pretty much used up with cucumbers, tomatoes and flowers and two kinds of milkweed.

Still with us.  But not for long.

The B B Box is still occupied.  Come on kids You'll love being on your own.  I saw a Chipmunk before we left home and the hotel was occupied when we arrived back at the ranch.  Doug took this one to the chipmunk playground in the park after lunch.  The Vacancy sign is out again.

Blue Indigo bush.  It's been around for some time.  I love the size.

So another May Sunday has passed.  More to come with something special happening at church almost every Sunday during the month. June is pride month in Indy and North celebrates that also. We'll be even busier.

This is the new yellow indigo.  Bought last summer.  Small but will not be so small soon.
