Saturday.

Saturday follows Friday and that was true today.  So, it was time to get busy with thinking what needed clipping this morning for the altar flowers at church tomorrow.  So I got started and found a whole bunch of stuff that I just needed to clip.

There were two kinds of grasses that were blooming with different blooms, artemisia, Hosta, coral bell flowers and then all the zinnias from yesterday.  Doug and I hit the road and unloaded everything at the west door at church.  30 minutes later we were finished.  I've done this so often and usually have an idea long before I start what I want to accomplish.  So, in honor of Bob Schilling's 91st birthday, the former director of music at the church the altar flowers with thanksgiving to God will remind us of one of God's faithful servants.  It's been a blessing to do that.  I call it play time for me.

By noon we were back home for lunch and the afternoon was slow and easy watching a little I U football among other things.  I did some texting, getting ready for tomorrows wonderful visit with Gary and Judy, our camping U P friends for many years.  Jared called and I got to talk with Adam again making plans for our trip north in a couple of weeks.  Love the anticipation.

There were naps as usual waking up to find another card by my chair from a good church friend, wishing me the best.  So the day was pretty simple.  It's the best kind to have although I do like a little spice from time to time.  That never hurts.
