Sunday
It's been a good day. Maybe even close to a great day. No, it's been a super day.
Being a church day it was time to get dressed up and on our way to church at 10. And we had time to visit before the 11 o'clock service. The flowers were beautiful. The preaching was stellar. The choir was at their best and the handbells with our two grandsons as members of that group, played.
Bob and Rita. Bob being the honoree on this particular Sunday. Two more arrangements were on the other side of the altar. We moved all the flower to the west entrance for folks to enjoy who had business at the church during the week. Then we headed home with the parking lot still full of cars. That was the plan.
After they left it was football and some other usual Sunday stuff. I can report that the energy bucket did not empty and continued to produce through the evening. What a gift that I am exceedingly grateful for. It's been a super, super day filled with memories of long ago and not new ones from today. Thank you, Judy and Gary.
This is the beautiful Iris that came from neighbor Kathy at a time I really needed it. Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow. You heard that again and again. That's all I have needed. Great is they faithfulness, Lord unto me.Yes...pictures are back. I think it might have been a dumb, dumb brain thing that made them go away. It would appear that I don't have much left to work with. You think? It's alright to agree with that. It probably is the truth.
