Friday

Beautiful Dogwood tree leaves with the sun shining from the west.  My Celtic cross always near.

Not very much happened today.  So the day was a good one for me.  The early morning stuff happened.  I did some cutting out and a little sewing.  I watched some TV.  There were no trips out in the car.  It was just a simple Friday that one should have now and then.

Surprise, surprise.  I forgot to pull these out a couple of weeks ago. They are the famous Binary Zinnias.

I tried to eat a little more.  I don't know if I passed but I ate some new things.  There was a protein drink mid-morning.  I need a few more 25- or 30-gram protein drinks.

I'll be so sorry when the frost comes for these beautiful blossoms.

In the afternoon I worked more on getting yesterday's purchases ready for ripping.  I finished a few burps and have another five to finish whenever that comes along.

By the way...orange in the garden is a must.  Did you hear that from me before?  I think so.                              My pussywillow fence.  I hope to do pussywillow cages for tomatoes next spring.

The day was filled with sunshine, but the air was a bit chilly, so I bundled up big time and took a walk around the big block stopping to talked to a neighbor I never met out sweeping off her driveway.  We found out that we are the same age with birthdays just three days apart in July.  I teased her for being three days older than I.  It felt good to be back home after the long hill climb in front of our house.

I think this flower is from a tobacco plant.                                                                                 I have no idea where it came from showing up sometime in August.

There was more TV with Nicole on MSNBC at 4 pm.  She is my favorite with super guests, super questions and what I feel is worthy conversation.  The wait will soon be over.  Well, maybe.

A simple little maple leaf and of course the color is right!

I received what I feel is a very important call telling me when my next month's supply of Kisquali will arrive.  That will be next Monday.  We moved it up two days so I can get started again on Tuesday toward making a difference in my treatment.  At least that is the HOPE.

Speaking of Hope...Adam's girlfriend Hope is doing state cross country for her school tomorrow.  She is excited and we wish her the best.

This is a picture taken when we were in Michigan helping Adam and Hope to make blankets.

I spent a little time walking the garden feeling that spicy air and finding surprises to photograph.  Another day of blessings coming my way.  Name them one by one.  See what God has done.
