Monday
Do you like the look? Pure warm and toasty relaxation is what I call it.
Good things happened today. Doug got my anti biotics, the Kisqali came and I'm all set for more surprises. But it's just fine if they choose to pass me up today. I'd love to share with anyone who would like a surprise. It's sort of like Halloween candy. I would like to keep on passing them out to whomever would like one of mine or more.
I slept well. Got some protein down for breakfast on top of my bread. I finished candle fixing on all the pillars and am ready to get started on the prayer candles.
I ripped some fabric and sewed five new burps, and spot cleaned a little kitchen floor. I said just a little. It's that moderation thing that keeps slapping me in the face.
The top and bottom burp are from the latest stash we found at Goodwill. I think they can't be any cuter. One thing that is really bugging me are dirty windows. It's one of those jobs that just needs to get started. It's not hard when the windows open from the inside. A good weather day would be encouraging. Goodness, we have had many of those and I choose to take walks and do other things. Pretty soon the jig is up. I could pull the blinds and shut the drapes, but I have neither one of those. There is no other solution but to wash. I'll wait until one of those days comes along. Sewing keeps my eye on the fabric!!! Should I forget about the windows?
I set some dates for more church work with Heidi. It's time to think about moving nativities from the church attic to the main floor where they will be accessible to parishioners when distribution Sunday comes November 24th. Let me bore you. It's another one of those plan ahead things. But one can really get in a pickle when planning doesn't happen. It does keep my brain in the active mode, I must admit.
I hope we can be a little more selective with the number we display. It's only a HOPE!One of the directives I heard last night was eating spicy food would not be a good thing for an irritated bladder. That takes care of the chili for a while. So, the next best thing was to make a pot of chicken vegetable. I was in the mood, so the soup kettle came out, the knife got busy with chopping and the results was a nice pot of soup.
This time Chicken Soup. And of course, I thought of my friends Rita and Bob. The yellow bag came out and Uber Doug headed south sharing food again with good friends. After that it was time for the chair that resulted in a well earned naps. Supper was easy with two bowls of soup with just a few dishes. There was time for the blog and then Monday night football in America.
I would say another great day thanking the antibiotics for energy. I'm keeping a mug of water at my side and aim to squish the latest little irritation that needs to be moved on out of my body. I'm sure there is room in the B Blue! Tomorrow, a visit with the neurologist., my seizure doctor. The six months has gone well and my HOPE is that I'll be driving again. What a gift that would be.
