Tuesday
Pictures are a little sparce today. There was way to much going on to think pictures. Earlier tonight they didn't want to load so this is an 11 pm job. Election...not so hot right now.
The day started off pretty slow with the TV. No matter what...this is a nail biter day. So, my nails, be they connected to my fingers or the ones that are used to build things, I'm ready for some good news.
After enough TV I did some burp sewing. That's a great way to get one's mind off nail biting. I sewed away for a while.
At 12, we were on the way to see Dr.Schmoll, the neurologist. We had a great visit, and I have my wheels back. There have been no seizures for 7 months since the lone one in church that got me in trouble. I'm staying on anti-seizure medicine and off of tall ladders. That's a small price to pay for car privileges. I'll see the doctor again in six months. Jared said I fired dad but Doug told me if I wanted a driver, he was available. By the way...no more doctors this week unless there is a surprise. There are more visits coming next week.
More Georgia cookies coming tomorrow. I bought a second bag of C Chips. On the way home we did a Kroger stop getting some necessaries that Aldi's doesn't have. So, the food pieces are coming together for Georgia. When turkeys are cheap at Meijers I get one of those. It's a toss up. Should I bake it here or in Georgia. Here the mess gets cleaned up quickly and the Georgia meal is easier to do. Baking in Georgia...we get the smell. Oh, dear...what will it be. I made sure we had the Indiana Cranberry Sauce 2 lb. container.
Here's the sauce! I've never found this at Publics. They carry the canned stuff! UCK!If I remember correctly Rick and Dee both enjoyed the sauce. I'm happy to share this with whom ever. My dad added oranges, apples and walnuts. Yum, Yum. The perfect thing to add to turkey meat which can be a bit bland in taste.
Groceries were stashed and there was a short return to the TV. Election news is driving me today. That was until I fell asleep.
I worked on a few more burps counting and then miss counting and then doing it all over again a few more times. The latest count is something close to around 12 more needed and there will be another 100 to bag up.
I ran the sweeper picking up leaves that come in on our shoes. Then swept off the patio which is a little feudal right now. It's been a blustery dark day but blustery will blow more leaves off the trees. Winny the Poo agrees. Mr. Poo is one of my favorite friends.
For supper we had election day chili. Well, Doug did. It really is the Georgia chili and a bit spicy fitting for the day. I had calm, bland chicken soup again. My kind of soup.
Doug tried the Georgia Chili. It sure smelled great. It's made with turkey instead of beef. Kimmy is not a beef eater. Doug gave it a thumbs up.
