Monday
Once again Monday started with Bran Flakes, coffee and birds. I just happened to see a Starling get in a feeder that had mealworms and black sunflower seeds. Apparently, my fix wasn't a fix. So, the feeder came in and I made some changes. And of course, the Robin found a new perch on top of the feeder. So once again I made some changes.
It failed the test.I think I have something that resembles the TIN MAN. My hope is that the danglers will be a deterrent for both of the birds. Oh, dear...That was another oops. Mr. Starling fought his way through. And once again I saw Blue Birds and their plan is a better one. They just come when the environment is safe. No Robin and no Starlings around.
Today was a washing more flannel day with more ripping and marking. More burps are on the way. Well, part of the way. One more week of being on the Machine Vacation Plan. My back is tired. Ripping is exercise. Maybe I should do ripping more often.
I am mystified about me. I can sleep mid-morning, afternoon and night. What's up with all this sleeping. It just takes the chair during the day and bed at night. I can't figure out the birds and now me. Not very months back it was why am I'm sleepless. Perhaps it's time to quit trying and just let it be. I'm just a wonderer with why questions, I guess.
This afternoon brought another trip to the Y with two 25-minute sessions. One was treadmill and one was bike. The back is much better! Walking and biking just seems to get all the muscles going in the right direction. Did I think about all my ducks in a row. The Archibald's were at the Y doing their thing too. We will see them again at 5:30 since it's the second Monday of the month and Mc Alister's fixes supper for all of us Northside church folks. Then it back home for a rip roaring...I hope game with Notre Dame and Ohio State. We'll see how this goes. I think all my eggs are in the Ohio State basket this time. Who knows?
We need a little color again. I tried to find a picture of Leslie and I need more time to look for it. She is one of my Holly Hock friends among other things.I just walked out the patio door to take another crazy picture and this is what I found, a Prime delivery. It's so much better than the picture I was going to take.
From my long time U P Michigan friends Dennis and Leslie. How nice. Thank you so much. Now if Leslie and Dennis had this book, they would have a whole lot of birds to look at also. A story a week. I bet I'll beat that. Thanks so much. PS...they have bears. None here for sure. I'll take birds.
Enjoy! L and D (i don't think the bears sing. They do chuff though…I guess this is rapping!)
