Saturday
It has been a slow day. Not much happening around here on a gloomy Saturday. No sun, few birds a snow dusting overnight and not a whole lot going on in this house. It's been pretty quiet.
Breakfast happened and I think one of the first things on the list was to finish trimming the Christmas Eve candles. I did that but was to lazy to melt any wax for votives. That will happen another day.
I knitted for the rest of the morning finishing another bow tie neck scarf. I was totally frustrated with one part having no problem with that on knitting two tens together on the first scarf I did. I never did figure out how to do that but knew what the outcome was. So I figured out another way which wasn't very easy. And then I finished the scarf.
The Marcia made scarf on the left, my made scarf on the right. The third scarf is on the needles.
.
There was a trip to the drugstore. This is the third time this has happened recently...an allergy out of the blue. Nose blowing, eyes dripping and sneezing like none other. I tried to live through it but after lunch I gave up and made a drug run. It would seem I'm not able to blow this kind of a thing off without help. I'm beginning to think it has something to do with fabric. I hope not. Another thing I've been told since having cancer, immunity can change. So what ever it is...I have the drips and sneezes big time, this time.
More burps in the pipe line.I stopped at Aldi's for fruit and cheese and a few other things. In the checkout line I spilled my blueberries and those little buggers rolled everywhere. What a mess. And how embarrassing. I guess it was my turn to hold up the line. I didn't like that. A real cute couple waiting just behind me in line wished me luck for the rest of the day as they were leaving the store.
The rest of the afternoon was football and more knitting until I got to that trouble spot. I've got to figure this out. I might need to face time Marcia to get an answer. I know the solution is simple but it's not coming to me for now.
There will be more football and then it's bedtime. Sleeping for some reason unknown to me has improved big time. I'll take it. I'm wondering if Kisqali has sleeping medicine in it?
