Wednesday.
The day started with all except Eric sick in that family. So, I took Eric to the bus to get him on his way downtown. Then it was time to gas up the car and I was on my way home for just a bit.
Summer time and the living is easy. Not really if you love flowers and have a big garden. But it is worth all the work.
Then off to church to meet Heidi for another Wednesday of work. And that's what it turned out to be. Maybe one might say a little to much of work which wasted me for much of the afternoon.
We worked in the banner room sharing more things that are in our visual closet. A whole lot of sorting happened. Then it was to the Sacristy to do even more rearranging. And then to the attic which might be thought of as the high third floor over Darren's office where there were even more things that needed going through and deciding that somethings were better off in the costume closet, which was in the lower level, 4 floors lower than the attic. That meant a lot of stairs. Woo... I think I have old legs. A little bit of that goes a long way. So, a whole lot of work was accomplished which is a wonderful mental feeling but not such a good physical feeling. At this point I would say it's either one or the other. Mental is a good way to go. Physical will be better tomorrow. There is still more to do in the attic but we'll get to the finish line soon. I was on my way home by 1:30.
From Kimmy's garden and a reminder of a fun family summer event at Copper Harbor.
It was time for lunch and a chair rest and then having a Mother Hubbard bare cupboard we needed an Aldi visit. Doug makes that a little easier, pushing the cart and helping with bagging. I really appreciate his help. Soup from the freezer one more time filled the menu. And the rest of the evening was one of reflecting on the day and knowing that our work today will make our work in the future a little easier.
So, with all of that, guess what... no pictures. The archives will help out as it usually does. I'm heading to the chair!
