Friday
It is wonderful to experience a great night of rest resulting in energy for the next day. Yesterday was a drainer. I forgot how much energy it takes to change cars. Big decisions are not easy. But the deed is done! It's a fun car with lots of stuff on it.
This morning all the usual happened. Since it was fill the pill box day I needed to get calcium, so I was off to the drugstore rather early. And the scene as I was leaving the house looked like this.
So the pills found their place for two weeks again. Later in the day Kisqali came by FedEx. That's the March supply of medication for cancer. I'm beginning to think that I fell through the cracks for the first six months of this treatment. I'm getting phone calls now and automatic delivery. Woo, woo. They found me!!! I'll be taking this medication until it stops working. So far, so good. Scans, from time to time will determine what really is happening.
I continued with knitting finishing the third scarf and later in the day started the fourth one. I need to complete five colorful ones. So, it's the little engine that could puffing away toward Conyers, Georgia one scarf at a time.
I think I need one more skein of yarn to get to five scarves. There was another trip out. That was to Aldi's. And once again Doug went with me. Woo. He makes grocery shopping so easy following me around with the cart. Pulling out the credit card and helping to pack the groceries. The cupboard was bare, and the dog had no bone. But that changed big time.
I put together four Shepherd Pies and an apple salad and shared half with neighbor Kathy. She has had some health issues, and it was time to share a meal.
We picked up Eric in Broad Ripple and talked to Jared on the car phone. He also was talking on his car phone retrieving pizza for his birthday dinner. So, we all got to visit in our cars. Happy Birthday Kiddo!
Birds were plentiful today, but I think we saw more Starlings than B Birds. But they were here as well. Just not as many. We need mealworms. The bag is EMPTY.
The evening saw more knitting, but my goal is just to knit. I'll be finished when I'm finished. Another good day. A week of days continue to fly by. Soon we'll be ready for another Sunday. That's just a wonderful way to start the week.
