Monday
Today was pretty simple. And simple is good. There was an early wake up with all the usual stuff. I retrieved the paper for Doug. Read a little of it and had breakfast. The birds were fed, and the B Bird flock once again came around. One Starling got into the B Bird feeder. There was one panicked bird trapped for a bit but then managed to escape. He needs to remember how that felt.
I managed to remember to make a phone call setting up some therapy sessions addressing some minor issues that one of my doctors thinks needs some attention. I'm always aiming to please. That will start later in the month. I'm hoping for a one and done thing. We'll see.
And yes, today the rug got some attention. We're moving on.
One more time around today. I think I can, I think I can. Can I double that tomorrow? I must remember that to hurry is not good when lacing.I tore some wool into two-inch strips. Sewed most together and then rolled the strips for braiding. I did some lacing. I checked the wool container and found that I had way more wool than I had remembered. The braiding possibilities continue to be many. How big will the rug be? That's anyone's guess.
So there was a break from lacing now and then to check on the birds as well as watch a little news. Nancy B. alerted me to some women's basketball games. The big one being OHIO! They won their game later in the day. I had to put that on the shelf because there was a date in the afternoon with the cancer doctor. Blood was drawn and I have a date in April for another PET Scan and a follow up appointment with Dr. Schneider to check on what is happening inside of me. It will be a mystery till then. I'm feeling great if that means anything. So, I just take it for what it is worth.
There was a late afternoon B Bird gathering of at least 15 feathered friends. The tree was filled, the B Bird feeder had at least six in it and the suet feeder wasn't empty. More were sitting and waiting for a better position at something to eat. Woo. It was a blue world.
They seem so far away.Supper was the second Shepherd's Pie with a yummy cauliflower/broccoli salad complements of my neighbor Kathy. Doug made an Eric run. I choose to stay home and write the blog.
One side of a stole made for Pastor Darren last year. There are two sides.
There is a lot to keep me busy. And busy takes care of a whole lot of things. I am blessed.
