Saturday

It can only be a Lenten Cactus.                                                                                                                      This one is a gift from Kimmy.

Today started out like other days and then it got a little crazy.

There was breakfast with yogurt, nuts and blue berries.  I did some knitting finishing almost another scarf.  I'm into purple now.  I'm hoping I have enough yarn to make three purple scarves.  There are three ladies at church who love purple and are the best of friends.  I'm thinking about them. One is my daughter-in-law.

I knitted in some pony beads on the light purple side for something different.

The phone rang and it was Heidi asking how I was.  I thought that was a little strange and then she told me it was Bread and Bowl Saturday, and wondering where I was and if I was ok.  OOPS.  Yes, a big OOPS.  25 minutes later I was at church ready to dive into B and B work.

And it was a busy morning as usual getting ready for lunch eating folks with a lot of good workers.  But it was a small crowd that visited.  Why?  One never knows.  We kept busy with things closing up and putting away at 12.  It's always a big question about how many will be with us.  And today was one of those smaller groups of people.  The weather was chilly, but the sun was out, and we couldn't say the cause was fowl weather. It might be labeled as one of those it is what it is days.

The 5 big storage containers made it to church.  The ladder will go tomorrow, and I presented bills for both of those items. There will be palm for Palm Sunday bills and flower bills for Easter Sunday.

Back home in Carmel for lunch and an afternoon of lady's basketball and knitting with naps thrown in here and there.  I started another scarf.

There another one on the needles.

I was a little disappointed this morning before getting up when I realized because I have a restless leg syndrome on PA tells me, that my bottom sheets have a big hole in it.  This is the third sheet I have worn through.  I'm taking gabapentin which is suppose to help but the dosage is small.  I'm thinking that should change.  I hate buying sheets.  So, it soon will be off to Goodwill unless I patch with a huge patch the one I have.  I think this is something really strange that goes along with other strange things that I seem to have.  That certainly keeps me alert.

There were a few trips outside but tomorrow it should me more comfortable.  The wind seems to be out of the north.  I prefer it to be out of the south. So sorry to all of my northern friends.  But it's the truth until July and August.

More little surprises showing up. Surprise, surprise.
