Friday

For some reason it felt like Saturday until this afternoon.  So. I lost half of Friday somewhere, I guess.  I would call this a busy day although it is sort of amusing how things escape from my mind at times only to be found later.

I experienced another one of those doughnut hole nights but ended up having a great closing sleep to Thursday and ready for Friday which felt like Saturday.  Good grief...I'm glad Sunday didn't get in the way.  I would have been early for the parade.

It was another cold morning that kept me inside. I sewed some floor blankets using up more fabric.  The floor blanket stack is getting higher but not as quickly as the stack of burps appeared.

Some finished and four pinned and ready for the sewing machine

I finished another scarf without starting a new one.  It will happen at some point.  The yarn basket isn't empty.

Just a reminder, for Indy folks, yarn is still being delivered at JoAnn's.

The grand canyon deer tracks changed into looking like Nebraska.  I found Charlie in places and took care of him.  Moving happened where it needed to.  A couple of years ago the birds gave me a sweet woodland plant whose name I do not know.

Then I found the second one and today I found more situated in among some Hosta plants.  So, I did some dividing and now will have more.  The leaves are so pretty but the flower doesn't impress anyone.
Some of the children replanted. And as expected the squirrels dug holes in the loose soil around every plant that I replanted.  I hope they are having fun.  I'm not!

Later in the afternoon Doug and I prepared the palms for the Palm Sunday celebration. They are wrapped in damp towels and a plastic tablecloth that will keep them healthy till Sunday.  Phone calls were made to help ushers locate where the palms will be stored at church for Sunday.

Once again a choice until there is no choice.

I remembered that my C Pap machine needed distilled water.  My gal. jugs were bone dry.  So off to Meijers for 4 gal of water.  I looked at their flowers.  The selection and price are very good so I will return tomorrow afternoon to make some purchases for the Easter altar.

I moved on to my 3.99 a sheet Goodwill store of course, and found another beautiful sheet, this time a queen instead of the twin I picked up a few days ago.  Lucky me for sure.  I love this print.

Another big beautiful sheet to rip with two floor blankets folded in the middle of the picture.

Supper snuck up on me, so it was soup from the refrigerator again filling the void.  Add grapes from Peru.  That's not Indiana by the way.

Last night's Pacer game was awesome with a great exciting ending again with a Pacer win.  Watch them in the playoffs.  And Cleveland Nancy and I were texting throughout the evening.  There can only be one winner, but the Cavaliers played an awesome game.

More flowers pictures showing more that is available to us.

  1. First thing I ask on waking: what day is today? I usually get it right on the first try. But there are mornings I need to do a bit of juggling of memories.
