Tuesday
The morning has been a little slow. That means things did happen but at a reduced rate. There was a long night of sleep after an afternoon and evening of extreme fatigue. Woo. Almost too much effort to blink my eyes. I'm happy to say that's almost gone for now. Kisqali can be associated with fatigue, but I need to add that after a year of Kisquali this is the first time to experience such extreme fatigue. I am so fortunate.
Now this should make anyone visit the garden. What a morning sight.I picked up the throw away piles of clippings. I cleaned up again all the rabbit sniping's. I planted six big marigold plants in three beds of zinnias with more to come when marigold seeds germinate and grow to transplanting sizes planted in one of the gardens. I cleaned up the rabbit eaten zinnia stalks thinking some of the plants show signs of improvement. Let's hope that continues.
Those marigolds have a job to do. Yesterday, the zinnia was about 30 inches tall. And I'll add that the gardens are showing signs of color from other flowers that have been planted. Yeah! And the male Finch are so bright when flying among the purple cleomes. It's that color wheel thing again.
The cosmos are showing up.The dill eating T Swallowtail has left the dill and crawled to the top of the butterfly container perhaps ready to form a chrysalis. Both are moving on to the next stage. Two so far is better than none. Doug and I are both hunting more but with no success.
The water plants in the pond were blooming until Momma deer had a snack this morning. Bummer for sure. They are so pretty. I'm looking for one more to bloom and I might catch that before it's gone.
All four are in attendance. Momma and the three fawns. Number three fawn is to the left outside of the picture. A little bit of the back yard. Another Bed of all flowers. Some are on rabbit vacation. I hope to see them blooming again. The bunny doesn't bother the short zinias. Well, not yet. Another good look at a lot of flowers.
beautiful garden - you start your day walking in the garden, i start my day looking at pictures of your garden. I am lucky because no rabbits nibble away at the pictures.
