I'm finding many bumble bees, honeybees and lots of bugs I can't attach a name to. All pollinators. There are never enough but more this year than some.
The answer to the Stella question. Stella has been resting, and I should be taking her out for a walk. I accomplished last night's walk without Stella, but it would have been easier with her. We need to start that routine up again. But not today. The chair is my comfort zone.
Pretty pretty. I think this might be a State Fair zinnia. The morning started with breakfast and a visit to I U North for bloodwork. The deal is that the numbers need to be better to start the next session of Kisqali. That should happen with another week of rest away from my dear Kisqali. It's happened before with three weeks on the medication and improved with two weeks off the medication. Another blood draw on the 29 should bring better news meaning the word Kisqali can start again.
A beautiful coleus. My mother's favorite with pretty leaves. I have a few more with different leaves. This morning there was more visiting. Marcia and Dennis both expressed their visit being very enjoyable. I'm happy that happened. I love to tease Dennis to the max. He responds so well. I would say we try to best each other every chance we get. Marcia enjoyed herself immensely. I'm happy for both of them. They pulled out of the driveway just after 11:00. Early for Dennis who makes his trip home from Copper Harber usually starting around 4 or 5 PM. That home arrival time is close to 3 or 4 AM. Novi is a suburb of Detroit.
A cute little trailer with two sleeping spots, sink, fridge, stove. air, heat and additional storage. I probably skipped something. Perfect for two retired people. We talked to Leslie S. our Bumble Hill, Holly Hock UP friend. What fun.
I did some watering early afternoon making sure the planted Sunflowers got a grow drink. The expected fall tomato got a drink that I hope will last for a few days. The butterflies are back in full force. There is a good chance I found some very tiny butterfly caterpillars. I'm not surprised with all the flying friends seen in the garden. They could be swallowtails since they were munching parsley. There are a number of swallowtail egg laying plants to choose from.
I am glad that Stella is getting some exercise. She deserves to stay in shape!
